An Inspiring Start to the Week: Volunteer Mission on the Shumen Plateau

The week began with another volunteer mission to restore part of the markings on the Floristic Trail of the Shumen Plateau National Park. A team of volunteers worked to ensure the trail markings were clear and visible, improving the experience for future hikers and nature enthusiasts.

The mission was successfully completed, and after reflecting on their work, the volunteers came up with several more initiatives, which will be announced soon.

But the efforts don’t stop here. The organisation challenges everyone to walk one of the trails and do a good deed, whether it’s cleaning a polluted area, restoring a shelter, or renewing forest markings. Each contribution can make a difference in preserving the natural beauty of the environment.

The “Volunteering is Super Cool” initiative is implemented within the framework of the “Rights and Values” project and is funded by the European Union and the “Workshop for Civic Initiatives” Foundation (WCIF).
