Young People Revive the Youth Sphere

On July 17th, the Youth Sphere witnessed a remarkable transformation as approximately 15 young individuals came together with a new sense of purpose. Previously known for their mischief, which led to some damage to the Sphere, these young people decided it was time to shift from disruptors to stewards of their community space.

Filled with enthusiasm and determination, the group embarked on a significant project to restore and enhance the Youth Sphere. Their efforts began with repairing chairs and tables, clearly demonstrating their commitment to revitalizing the space. This transformative event, which ran from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, was covered by Shumen media, highlighting the dedication and teamwork of the participants as they worked collaboratively to repair and rebuild.

The Podobri Foundation, known for its role in enhancing the Youth Sphere through various activities like outdoor movie nights, concerts, and workshops, has been at the forefront of these efforts. The foundation recognizes that maintaining and nurturing the Youth Sphere is crucial for the continuation of these enriching events. By using resources wisely and fostering a sense of care and responsibility among the youth, the foundation aims to ensure the sustainability of these initiatives for years to come.

And the event “Volunteer Mission – Youth Sphere” was part of the initiative “Volunteering is SUPER COOL”, which aims to promote volunteering and civic participation among young people.

The “Volunteering is Super Cool” initiative is implemented within the framework of the “Rights and Values” project and is funded by the European Union and the “Workshop for Civic Initiatives” Foundation (WCIF).
