On 07.10.2024 in the Youth House in Shumen an information meeting to present the results of the survey among the youth and the Municipal Youth Strategy was held. This event was attended by over 90 people, including representatives of youth organisations, municipal councilors, youth workers, experts from the administration, media, members of the project working group and over 60 young people!

Key guests of the event were the Mayor of Shumen Municipality – Prof. Hristo Hristov, Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture – Dr. Victoria Kovchazova, Deputy Director of the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) – Vladimir Yordanov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport – Petar Mladenov and Atanas Radev – Chairman of the National Youth Forum.

Peter Bodurov, the Chairman of Podobri Foundation, started the information meeting, emphasising the importance of the Youth Strategy for the young people of Shumen and the efforts made by the young people for the sake of the youth!

Stefan Georgiev and Dr. Liliya Elenkova, the collaborators of the “Youth Changemakers” project, presented the results of the youth survey and the strategy itself, respectively, and the audience was intrigued by the results.

The meeting ended with a cocktail, which was a suitable occasion to discuss the future of Shumen and its young people.
